Why use a Cent Account

A Cent Account provides live market access with positions sized at 1/100 of equivalent Standard Account exposure. This smaller exposure can help new traders move from simulated trading to live execution with less capital at risk per position.

Experienced traders can use Cent sizing to test a strategy or MetaTrader 5 Expert Advisor with live prices and execution before increasing position size. Smaller positions reduce monetary exposure, but they do not remove trading risk.

How USC denomination works

USC means US cents. MetaTrader 5 displays Cent Account values at 100.00 USC for every $1.00 USD of economic value, so a $10.00 balance appears as 1,000.00 USC. Balance, equity, margin, profit and loss are shown in USC to two decimal places.

Cent position sizing uses the same scale. A 1.00-lot Cent position carries the exposure of a 0.01-lot Standard position. Multiplying the display by 100 changes the unit shown in MT5, not the underlying account value.

Leverage up to 1:1000

The Cent Account offers flexible leverage from 1:1 up to 1:1000. Profits and losses scale with the full position exposure rather than the displayed margin, so high leverage can magnify losses quickly. Cent sizing lowers the exposure of an equivalent lot selection but does not make leveraged trading risk-free.

Swap-free is available
