When you open a trading account, funding your account is the first real step before you can place any trades. At TabTrade, the process is pretty simple.

You pick a payment method to deposit through the Secure Account Portal, and the funds land in your wallet or trading account. No hidden steps and no surprise fees.

What Funding Methods Are Available?

We support several deposit methods. The exact options depend on your region, but most traders will see some combination of these:

Several of these methods process instantly. So if you spot a trading opportunity, you won’t need to wait around for your deposit to clear.

To see every option available in your area, create an account and check the deposit section. Regional payment methods and local e-wallets may also be listed depending on where you’re based.

Funding Your Account Through the Portal

All deposits are made through your Secure Account Portal (SAP). Here’s the basic process:

  • Log in to your Secure Account Portal
  • Head to the Funding section
  • Choose your preferred deposit method and account to fund
  • Enter the amount and follow the on-screen instructions
  • Confirm the transaction

Once the deposit processes, the funds appear in your wallet or trading account.

Zero Fees on Deposits

We don’t charge fees on any deposits. That includes card payments, bank transfers, crypto, and e-wallets. Whatever method you pick, the full amount goes into your account.

However, your bank or payment provider might charge their own fees on their end. That’s outside TabTrade’s control, so it’s worth checking with your provider before you deposit.

How Wallets Work at TabTrade

Your wallet sits between your deposit method and your trading account. Think of it as a holding area for your funds.

One useful feature is multi-currency support. You can hold different currencies in separate wallets and convert between them whenever you need to. TabTrade shows you the live exchange rate and the final converted amount before anything processes. In many cases, the rates work out cheaper than what banks offer.

Also, any rebates or bonuses from TabTrade get paid directly into your wallet. Your funds stay separate from TabTrade’s own operational money. They’re only used for meeting margin and contract obligations, transferring between your own accounts, or paying for optional services like VPS hosting.

Getting Your Money Out

Withdrawals go through the same Secure Account Portal. The process looks like this:

  • Log in to your portal
  • Go to the funding section
  • Pick your withdrawal method and account
  • Enter the amount, destination account and submit

Most withdrawals process within one business day. Crypto and e-wallet withdrawals tend to be the fastest, often completing same-day. Bank transfers may take a bit longer because of settlement times.

One thing worth knowing: if you deposited by credit or debit card, withdrawals go back to the same card up to the original deposit amount. Any profits above that get paid out through an alternative method. Additionally, all withdrawals must go to an account in your name.

You can withdraw up to 90% of your free margin. TabTrade keeps a small buffer to help you avoid sudden margin calls.

What If a Deposit Doesn’t Go Through?

Card deposits sometimes get declined. Common reasons include insufficient funds, expired cards, incorrect details, or blocks your bank places on international transactions.

If this happens, check with your bank first. They can usually tell you exactly why the payment failed. If the problem continues after that, reach out to TabTrade support with any error messages you received. The team can help figure out what went wrong.

Keeping Track of Your Transactions

After making a deposit, you can confirm it went through in a few ways. Check the transactions section in your portal, look at your updated account balance, or watch for a confirmation email.

Sometimes deposits or withdrawals sit in a “funds in transit” state. This just means the transaction has started but hasn’t fully settled yet. During this window, deposits might not show as usable margin and withdrawals may appear as pending. Keeping an eye on this helps you manage your margin and avoid any surprises.

Overall, funding your account at TabTrade is designed to be quick and hassle-free. Pick your method, deposit through the portal, and you’re ready to trade.
