How do I connect my account to TradingView?

TradingView can act as your charting and order-entry interface when your broker account is connected through the Trading Panel.

TradingView is a charting and analysis platform. By itself, it is not your broker and does not hold your TabTrade funds.

When you connect a compatible broker account, TradingView sends your trading instructions to the broker through the Trading Panel. Your balance, positions, and execution remain with the broker.

How the connection works

TradingView includes a Trading Panel at the bottom of the chart interface. This panel lists supported brokers.

When you select a broker and log in with your trading account credentials, TradingView can display your account details and let you place, modify, and close trades from the chart.

How to connect a broker in TradingView

  1. Log in to TradingView.
  2. Open a chart.
  3. Select Trading Panel at the bottom of the screen.
  4. Search for your broker.
  5. Choose the broker connection.
  6. Enter your trading account credentials.
  7. Choose the correct live or demo server.
  8. Select Connect.

Connecting a TabTrade account

To connect a TabTrade account where TradingView access is available:

  1. Log in to the Secure Account Portal.
  2. Confirm that you have a trading account configured for TradingView access.
  3. Open TradingView.
  4. Go to Trading Panel.
  5. Select TabTrade.
  6. Enter your TabTrade trading account number and password.
  7. Choose the correct TabTrade live or demo server.
  8. Connect and confirm that your balance and positions appear.

What you can do after connecting

Once connected, you may be able to:

  • Place trades from the chart
  • View open positions
  • Modify stop loss and take profit levels
  • Close trades
  • Monitor account balance and equity

Available features depend on TradingView, account type, platform configuration, and regional availability.

Troubleshooting

If you cannot connect:

  • Confirm that the account is configured for TradingView access.
  • Check that you are using platform credentials, not Secure Account Portal credentials.
  • Confirm you selected the correct live or demo server.
  • Reset your trading account password in the portal if needed.
  • Contact support if the broker connection is not available to your account.
