How mobile trading apps work
A mobile trading app connects to your broker’s price and execution servers through the internet. After logging in with your trading account credentials, you can access live prices, charts, order tickets, and account information.
Mobile platforms are designed for smaller screens, but they still include important trading tools such as:
- Live price monitoring
- Charting and timeframes
- Technical indicators
- Market and pending orders
- Stop loss and take profit management
- Push notifications and alerts
- Account balance, equity, and margin details
Step 1: Complete account setup
Before logging in on mobile, make sure your account is ready:
- Complete your profile in the Secure Account Portal.
- Upload verification documents if required.
- Wait for approval.
- Fund your wallet or trading account if you plan to trade live.
Step 2: Download the app
Log in to the Secure Account Portal from your mobile device and open the platform section. Choose the platform available to your account, such as MetaTrader 5 or cTrader, and follow the link to the official App Store or Google Play listing.
Avoid unofficial download links.
Step 3: Log in and trade
Open the app and search for TabTrade as the broker or server. Choose the live or demo server that matches your account, then enter your trading account number and platform password.
Your platform credentials are different from your Secure Account Portal login.
Once logged in, your account details and open positions should sync across compatible mobile, web, and desktop sessions.
